This is another instance where I've had to hurry my list due to a 4 day trip to Winnipeg last weekend. That equates to no long winded descriptions of these here items (some of you may be grateful). I'll "try" to post this list along with next weeks arrivals and include at least minor illuminations. The big hit for this week is obviously the new Detroit Cobras which is flying outta here, that along with the tardy release of Arcade Fire's "Neon Bible" on double vinyl (4th side etched) which is also here in limited quantities. Look for new cd's next week from both Porcupine Tree & Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. If you have any ?????'s regarding anything on this list, please don't hesitate to contact me & I'll reply promptly. Please remember that if you get this email you're always entitled to a 10% discount on your CD/LP/DVD purchases (off the sticker price). Note: If you're a fan of CJTR Regina Community Radio and you subscribe to the TV cable service of Access Communications, you can now listen to aforementioned radio station on channel 341, and that 91.3FM CJTR is also available on Sasktel Max digital service at channel 806.

Right off the top I'll mention that the product at the end which says here on friday, isn't. Once again I'm the victim (boo hoo, poor me) of some slip shod courier service and said merchandise will now not arrive until monday. That being said...A boatload of vinyl this time around. It's more and more like a real "record" store all the time. Be aware that most of the 200 gram vinyl and some lesser weight LP's on the smaller boutique labels that I'm now getting are substantially more expensive. All items now in stock unless noted.

All of these titles are currently in stock (except where noted). Tickets are moving swiftly for the 3 Inches Of Blood show @ The Distrikt on April 22nd. I'm selling tickets here exclusively @ X-Ray Records. Remember to support live music in your community, or maybe someday no bands will come here (you heard me). The Bloc Party 7" giveaway (little tiny records, if you're not sure what I'm talking about) courtesy of Vice Records, should be happening very soon. All it takes is a purchase of a CD/LP/DVD and you're in like Flynn (please make an inquiry).

All this product now in stock (except where noted). Due to unforseen shipping problems, all the items expected in on thursday will now not be here until monday or even possibly tuesday (I'm not sure if Purolator works on monday). My apologies.
Look for free Block Party 7" singles to be given away shortly (while quantities last) courtesy of Vice Records.

Welcome to the current X-Ray Records weekly arrival list. A big hello to all the new subscribers (quite a few this week). A reminder that if you get this email, you're entitled to a 10% discount on all your CD/LP/DVD purchases. Things are rollin' along here at the shop with a nice variety of new releases and restock items showing up. Look for a increase in the number of imported collectors weight (200 gram) Lp's in the very near future. Special orders are always welcome, so if there's anything you want, but don't see, please ask me to get it for you. Only 8 days until the NoMeansNo concert at the Distrikt. Tickets are $12, and are available exclusively at X-Ray Records. Lastly, my big trip to Calgary on the weekend to see Lyle Lovett/John Hiatt/Joe Ely & Guy Clark went off with out a hitch. It was some big time fun and the show itself was drop dead amazing.
